Deputy Director General of the International Islamic Charitable Organization for Institutional Communication, Ibrahim Al-Badr, confirmed that the Charitable Organization continues its efforts with all responsibility to provide relief to our people in Palestine, and to respond to the cries and groans of children and the groans of the wounded and oppressed, in light of the stifling siege they are experiencing without water, electricity, food, or medicine. And in the midst of a catastrophic humanitarian situation resulting from the continuous indiscriminate bombing of hospitals and ambulances and the demolition of homes on the heads of their residents.
Al-Badr said in a press statement that after the success of the popular Kuwaiti campaign to support the humanitarian situation in Gaza, and the Charitable Organization’s active participation in it among 23 Kuwaiti charitable societies in fear of Palestine, and its harvest of more than $10.5 million from about 60,000 donors, the Charitable Organization is still mobilizing its energies in order to keep up with the situation. The tragic humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, to work to secure the necessary and urgent medical and food aid and shelter supplies for civilians, medical teams, and civil defense teams.
