The International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) approved the implementation of a project to qualify 40 Kazakh students in high school, through UNT courses, in preparation for joining universities and obtaining free seats, as well as SAT and IELTS courses, to compete for scholarships in foreign universities inside and outside the country.
This project is part of an extra-curricular educational program, “Qualification courses to enroll in universities and develop skills and capabilities” for low-income students, in cooperation with the IICO’s Office in Kazakhstan. As the project includes courses to qualify 20 high school students with limited incomes to improve their academic levels to pass the unified UNT test, which is the admission test for Kazakh universities or foreign universities, according to which students whose score percentage exceeds 90% are granted free seats.
The other path consists of English language courses to improve the level of 20 other students and develop their cognitive capabilities so that they can take international tests such as the SAT, IELTS, and YOS, which are required by some Turkish universities.
Furthermore, the project contributes to helping students to obtain government scholarships or at international universities, as well as to reduce the burden of course fees and qualification projects on poor families and needy Muslim students in Transoxiana.
